Depop sweepstakes: entries, eligibility and winners

Find the rules for your specific Depop promotion before listing items, submitting a form or responding to a prize email.

The verdict

Find your Depop sweepstakes in the Help Centre’s Terms & policies directory and read that campaign’s rules. Entry actions, eligibility and winner-response deadlines differ. Check the sender of a prize email, contact Depop independently if it looks suspicious, and use the campaign’s winners-list instructions to verify results.

Depop sweepstakes have campaign-specific rules: find the relevant promotion in Depop’s Help Centre, then check its entry actions, eligibility and winner-notification instructions. A listing, signup or form submission only counts if it meets that promotion’s requirements.

The examples below explain how those requirements differ. They aren’t a list of open promotions, and the historical campaigns should not be treated as current entry opportunities.

Where to find the official Depop sweepstakes

Start with Depop’s Terms & policies directory, which links to promotion-specific rules. Match the campaign name and promotion period to the offer you’ve seen before you do any entry tasks.

For example, the Summer Sweepstakes rules covered August 10-16, 2026. That historical promotion can explain a listing requirement, but it doesn’t establish how a different Depop campaign works.

Keep the exact rules page handy. Check the entry period, qualifying actions and eligibility together; finding a familiar campaign hashtag is only part of the job.

Which Depop entry actions count?

The Summer campaign’s listing route required entrants to put #DepopSweepstakes in the item description. Don’t carry that instruction over to another promotion unless its own rules say to use it.

The July Depop Import campaign had a different task: successfully list at least ten items using Depop Import. More listings didn’t earn additional entries. If you were preparing extra items solely for that draw, the rules gave you no entry-related reason to go beyond the threshold.

The Daisy Chain Fields Festival campaign used a form and allowed one entry. The email registered through its landing-page form had to match the entrant’s Depop email.

Check the action and the entry limit separately

  • For a listing route, check the required description text and how the listing must be created.
  • For an import route, check the qualifying number of items and whether extra listings count.
  • For a form route, check account-matching requirements before submitting.
  • Read the entry limit before repeating any task. Extra work may earn no extra entries.

Who qualifies for a Depop sweepstakes?

Eligibility can decide whether your work counts at all. In the event-signup promotion, entrants had to be new Depop users who created and registered their account during the promotion period. An existing account didn’t satisfy that campaign’s new-user requirement.

The Perceptions campaign was restricted to invitees, and its rules voided entries from non-invitees. Its alternative form did not remove that restriction.

Check your eligibility before preparing listings or filling in a form. Treat the account requirements and invitation conditions in these examples as instructions for those named campaigns, not a universal Depop policy.

How much effort does entering involve?

Ten imported listings and a single form submission are different commitments. Ask what you already have ready and what you’d need to create specifically for the entry. The July example is a useful benchmark because its task threshold is explicit, and doing more did not increase the entry count.

Compare an entry task with the prize you actually want. Preparing ten listings for a draw is different from submitting a form you can finish immediately. Browse current giveaways to compare other entry methods.

Use the requirements as your comparison: a task you complete once, an entry you repeat, or a postal method you’d need to prepare. If returning regularly suits your routine, compare the options on VibeWin’s daily-entry giveaways page. Keep the named campaign’s rules beside you when deciding how much work to do.

How to verify a Depop winner notification

Read the notification instructions before you enter so you know what to watch for. The Perceptions rules required potential winners to respond within 48 hours of the notification email’s timestamp. That deadline belongs to Perceptions; it isn’t a response window for every Depop sweepstakes.

Check a prize message through Depop’s current account-security guidance. A familiar display name or apparently official domain is not conclusive proof; use the Help Centre independently if you are uncertain.

If an email looks suspicious, contact Depop independently through its Help Centre. Its account-security guidance also asks you to retain a screenshot that includes the sender’s contact information.

Check results through the campaign’s winners-list route

The historical Summer rules listed giveaways@depop.com for winner-list requests within thirty days after the entry period ended. That campaign’s request window has passed. For a later promotion, use its own Winners List section; this address is not a universal winner-notification procedure.

A demand for an upfront processing fee or tax payment to obtain a prize is a scam warning. The FTC’s prize-scam guidance says paying to get a prize is a scam.

Before responding to a prize message, reopen the rules for the campaign you actually entered. Check its notification method and response deadline, then contact Depop independently if anything looks wrong.
